Who We Are

In 2004, the Powell River Firefighters Charitable Society was created to give back to the community in new ways. Through strong partnerships, our charity supports fire safety education, food security programs, and assistance for those in need. We're strengthening our community through safety, support, and education.

Firefighters have been serving Powell River since 1911, when the town’s first brigade was established, carrying forward a long tradition of dedication and service. Join our mission and get involved today.
